Report on Voters Awareness Programme , AITS Kadapa

The Voters Awareness programme is conducted by Eenadu News Paper in coordination with National Service Scheme (NSS), AITS (Autonomous), KADAPA to create awareness about the right to vote among the youngsters. In this event, Prof. Chinta Sudhakar, Vice Chancellor as a chief guest B. Sreenusasulu Reddy, S.I Cintha Komma Dinne (M) are participated. They delivered a speech on awareness about the right to vote and also the importance of vote in democracy. They advised the students that if voters will sell their vote for money, themselves they only cause to destroy their society, so they said to all citizens about the importance of casting their vote as per democracy. All department B. Tech students are participated in the pledge of right to vote in AITS college auditorium. After that, Dr A Sudhakara Reddy, Principal, AITS, Kadapa gave a brief note to all students about awareness of voting system. Dr. T Sankar Reddy, NSS program officer and Mr. A. Rajesh, Physical Director and 100 NSS volunteers participated in this program.

Annamacharya Educational Trust was founded in the year 1997 by C.Gangi Reddy that offers quality-driven education to the rural youth. The rural area is affluent in talent, but for the dearth of educational facilities. This talent has to be channelized for the prosperity for the society and growth of the country in large.
