Extravaganza –A Grand Dussehra celebrations @AITS, Tirupati

AITS Kala Parivaar, the Cultural Committee of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and sciences, Tirupati has organized flamboyant Dussehra celebrations in the campus on 15th October, 2018. The extravaganza was initiated by Dr. C.Nadamuni Reddy, Principal with the Kala Parivaar Committee by illuminating the lamps and Durga Stotram recitation. Around 800 students enthusiastically participated in various cultural events conducted on this day. To showcase the students’ talent, the committee conducted several events in the most spectacular way. Amongst 15 Events, Cultural Dress Competition, Treasure hunt, Photography, Rangoli, Mehandi and Tug of War unfolded the excitement and energy of the participants. Cultural Dance Show, Pub G, Hitting the Pot highlighted the festival celebrations. In the evening, around 150 Faculty and Students gathered to hit the pot. The winners have been given away with prizes. K.Balaji Nanda Kumar, President Kala Parivaar Committee, K.M.Prasuna, Convener, Heads of the Departments, Faculty and 2200 Students participated in these celebrations.
