AITS Rajampet inked an MoU with German Universities as part of Indo-German Research Presence

Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Rajampet, inked an MoU with European Education and Research Council (GEMS) and Steinbeis Institute of Sustainable Resource Usage & Energy Management (nReEn) to establish and develop a bilateral research centre in India named “Centre for Excellence for Innovation and Technology Management for Indo-German Research Presence”. The centre of excellence is a part of the Indo-Euro Synchronization for initiating, strengthening and supporting of partnerships between German and Indian Organization in the form of Research and Development Projects, technology transfer, and industry related study and training programmes.

This MoU aims at building up a network of companies, research institutes and Universities for creation of research activities between India and Germany. Also, the agreement makes it possible for students to study engineering courses via distance learning.

Industry related management courses through interactive web-based training/webinars, and M.B.A/M.Sc. programs will be implemented with Stenbeis Philosophy of project integrated studies. Steinbeis Institute of Sustainable Resource Usage & Energy Management activates a network for establishing German industries in India and develops business models with Indian partners.
GC German Center for Engineering and Management Studies (GEMS) will be coordinating the centres of excellence by implementing specific courses in mechatronics.

Abhishek, Executive Director, Annamacharya Educational Trust attended Academic Leaders Delegation organized by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) in Frankfurt, Germany. The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. K. Lakshmi Narayana, IAS (Retd), Founder & Director of APSSDC

Mr. Abhishek said, “AITS Rajampet closely works together with GC German Center for Engineering and Management Studies (GEMS), Aachen, and Steinbeis Institute of Sustainable Resource Usage & Energy Management and provides infrastructure for research, allowing to share existing labs and actively supporting the preparation of research proposals.”

Mr. C. Gangi Reddy, Founder of Annamacharya Educational Trust, expressed his happiness for having partnered with German Universities for the support of Indo-German research presence.

Annamacharya Educational Trust was founded in the year 1997 by C.Gangi Reddy that offers quality-driven education to the rural youth. The rural area is affluent in talent, but for the dearth of educational facilities. This talent has to be channelized for the prosperity for the society and growth of the country in large.
