AITS, Hyderabad NSS Cell Plants Saplings under Haritha Haram Programme

Contributing to the Telangana Government’s Haritha Haram Programme, a large-scale tree-planting programme, the National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Hyderabad planted saplings on the college premises on 25th October 2019. The students were passionately involved in the drive to accomplish the responsibility of saving our planet. The state Govt’s initiative aims at planting 230 crore saplings in the state to increase the greenery and save the environment.

Annamacharya Educational Trust was founded in the year 1997 by C.Gangi Reddy that offers quality-driven education to the rural youth. The rural area is affluent in talent, but for the dearth of educational facilities. This talent has to be channelized for the prosperity for the society and growth of the country in large.
