Five Days Capacity Building Programme in AITS Tirupati

An in – house five days Capacity Building Programme conducted by Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) Trained faculty on “New Pedagogy in Engineering & Professional Education” from 10.12.2018 to 14.12.2018.

15 faculty members got certified under IUCEE AP Chapter by listening to webinars, attending workshops and by submitting assignments/projects during last year. These members conducted the workshop to the rest of the faculty. Paradigm shift in Teaching Learning Process, Course Design, Active Learning Methods, Collaborative Learning, Assessment tools, Design Thinking, and on Virtual & Remote Labs usage were widely discussed with activities, videos and hand-on experience in tools.

Mr. B. Ramana Reddy, APSSDC Coordinator of the Institute organized the Programme in the campus with his team of members.

Dr. C. Nadhamuni Reddy, Principal recommended faculty members to select a teaching methodology and assessment tool best suited for the topic to be exercised in the classroom. He emphasized to use different methodologies to reach different types of learners. Participative Learning is highly needed in the classroom environments. He stressed that the faculty should adapt new methods of learning and to make use of digital technology for 21st century learners.

Annamacharya Educational Trust was founded in the year 1997 by C.Gangi Reddy that offers quality-driven education to the rural youth. The rural area is affluent in talent, but for the dearth of educational facilities. This talent has to be channelized for the prosperity for the society and growth of the country in large.
