A MoU between AITS and ECMM

The Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), led by the Executive Director and Treasurer, Mr. C. Abhishek Reddy entered into a MoU with Germany-based European Center for Mechatronics and Manufacturing (ECMM) on Sep 14, 2018.

Mr. Vangapandu Venkata Raju, Founder/President of GC GEMS – GC German Center for Engineering and Management Studies, Dr. Till Quadflieg and Dr. Christoph Greb, Managing Directors of European Center for Mechatronics APS GmbH, Dr. K. Laxmi Narayana, IAS, Founder and Director of APSSDC (Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation) are the co-signatories of MOU.

The first ever MOU on Education entered into by the AITS Group benefits the understanding of students and faculty on Robotics. The MOU covers promoting Internship opportunities for the AITS’ students, facilitating mentorship from the ECMM Faculty and exchange of researchers and students.

As part of the signed MOU, ECMM will be supporting the transfer of knowledge through establishing Robotics Research Labs in AITS-Rajampet.

Within this Framework, the Faculty of ECMM will visit apply efforts to broaden the perspectives of the faculty of AITS-Rajampet on the basic principles of Robotics. The agreement constitutes the setting up of student training fund for giving impetus to the skill development process at the premises of AITS-R.

As part of the signed MOU, qualified students of AITS-Rajampet are provided with access to Internship work experience with ECMM, Germany.

Annamacharya Educational Trust was founded in the year 1997 by C.Gangi Reddy that offers quality-driven education to the rural youth. The rural area is affluent in talent, but for the dearth of educational facilities. This talent has to be channelized for the prosperity for the society and growth of the country in large.
