Week-long STTP on ‘Remote Sensing & GIS Applications in Civil Engineering’ at AITS, Tirupati

The Civil Engineering Dept. of AITS, Tirupati will conduct a week-long Short-Term Training Programme (STTP) on ‘Remote Sensing & GIS Applications in Civil Engineering’ from 23rd – 29th September 2019. The programme will be sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education. The STTP intends to provide a forum for presenting and discussing the latest trends in the areas of Remote Sensing (RS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). RS, GIS and GPS are one of the extremely useful tools for environmental, water resources, disaster management and land use & land cover change studies. The programme is coordinated by Dr K Narasimhulu, HOD, CE Dept. The Chief Patrons of the event are Sri C Gangi Reddy, Secretary, Smt C Poojitha Reddy, Joint Secretary, Sri C Abhishek Reddy, Executive Director, and Sri C Yella Reddy, Vice Chairman.
